<br />CGM.:rb 8/18/83 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9428 <br /> <br />AUG 2 2 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR BRADFORD STREET - MARSHALL <br />STREET PARKING LOT RECONSTRUCTION; REJECTING ALL OTHER <br />BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9397, adopted July 25, <br /> <br />1983, the City Clerk called for bids for Bradford Street - <br /> <br />Marshall Street Parking Lot Reconstruction in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Saldivar Construction, Inc., Mountain View, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said <br /> <br />Saldivar Construction, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Saldivar Construction, Inc. in the sum of <br /> <br />Nineteen Thousand Two Hundred Forty and no/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($19,240.00) computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />August 16, 1983, for Bradford Street - Marshall Street Parking <br /> <br />Lot Reconstruction is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> <br />work. <br /> <br />942t) <br />
