<br />Dollars ($217,000.00) for the period July 1, 1983 through <br /> <br /> <br />June 30, 1985; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the <br /> <br /> <br />aforementioned application for an additional appropriation <br /> <br />to the Community Development Block Grant and to authorize <br /> <br /> <br />the execution of all documents pertaining thereto, including <br /> <br /> <br />all understandings and assurances connected therewith; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />1. That certain application prepared for submission <br /> <br /> <br />to the united States Department of Housing and Urban Devel- <br /> <br />opment for an additional appropriation to the Community De- <br /> <br />velopment Block Grant pursuant to Title I of the Housing <br /> <br /> <br />and Community Development Act of 1974 and the Jobs Program <br /> <br />of 1983 (Public Law 98-8), a copy of which is on file in the <br /> <br /> <br />office of the Planning Department of the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved. <br /> <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute <br /> <br /> <br />and file the aforesaid application, and all documents, including <br /> <br /> <br />all understandings and assurances, necessary or appropriate <br /> <br />2 <br />
