<br />Commencing on July 1, 1985, the basic rates shall be as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br /> QUANTITY BASIC RATE <br />n (1) For the first 3,300 93.6 cents per 100 <br /> cu. ft. cu. ft. <br />n (2) For the next 30,000 87.5 cents per 100 <br /> cu. ft. cu. ft. <br />n (3) For all quantities over 75.5 cents per 100 <br /> 33,300 cu. ft. cu. ft. <br /> <br />Commencing on July 1, 1986, the basic rates shall be as <br />follows: <br /> <br />QUANTITY <br /> <br />BASIC RATE <br /> <br />n(l) <br /> <br />For the first 33,300 <br />cu. f t. <br /> <br />99.9 cents per 100 <br />cu. ft. <br /> <br />n (2) <br /> <br />For all quantities over <br />33,300 cu. ft. <br /> <br />86.9 cents per 100 <br />cu. ft. <br /> <br />n (c) <br /> <br />Monthly Water Quantity Charges. <br /> <br />A monthly water <br /> <br />quantity charge for water supplied by the water system owned or <br /> <br />operated by the City of Redwood City shall be paid by consumers for <br /> <br />water quantities furnished to premises located within the <br /> <br />hereinafter designated water service areas in an amount equal to the <br /> <br />applicable basic water quantity rate or rates times the correspond- <br /> <br />ing quantity of water consumed (as determined pursuant to Section <br /> <br />3(b), above) times the multiplier hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br />WATER SERVICE AREA <br /> <br />MULTIPLIER <br /> <br />Area 1 <br />Area 2 <br />Area 3 <br />Area 4 <br />Area 5 <br />Area 6 <br /> <br />1.0 <br />1.4 <br />1.1 <br />1.9 <br />1.2 <br />1.4 <br /> <br />The multiplier for water service Area 5 shall be 1.1 <br /> <br />commencing on July 1, 1984, and shall be 1.0 commencing on July 1, <br /> <br />1985. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
