<br />CGM:eg <br /> <br />5/18/83 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAY Z 3 1983 <br /> <br />9354 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR ROOF REMOVAL AND <br />REPLACEMENT - FIRE STATION NO.1; REJECTING <br />ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9334, adopted April 18, <br /> <br />1983, the City Clerk called for bids for roof removal and replace- <br /> <br />ment - Fire Station No. 1 in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS Pacific Coast Building Products, Inc., Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the inten- <br /> <br />tion and desire of this Council to award said bid to said Pacific <br /> <br />Coast Building Products, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Pacific Coast Building Products, Inc. in <br /> <br />the total amount of Thirty-seven Thousand Three Hundred Fifty and <br /> <br />no/lOO Dollars ($37,350.00), computed in accordance with the <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated May 17, 1983, for roof removal and replace- <br /> <br />ment - Fire Station No.1, according to those special provisions <br /> <br />entitled "Special provisions for the Redwood City Fire Station <br /> <br />No.1, 1044 Middlefield Rd., Roof Removal and Replacement - 1983- <br /> <br />84 - Redwood City, California" (including plans and standard <br /> <br />ru ..~ c, 11". <br />il tJ t_" <br />
