The <br /> site history indicates the property was used for agrieultuce purposes in the 1930s, was vaca��t for <br /> a time and was subsequently developed in I956 as a convalescent hospital and a publishirig <br /> company. These buildings were demolished in 2003. The ACC ESA contains photographs of <br /> the formar buildings. <br /> Given tlze historical agricultural site use, RTD was directed by NLP to conduct shallow soil <br /> sampling for organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) and CAM 17 mefals. RT'1� generally followed . <br /> the DTSC Interi�n Guidance for Samplin��Igricultural Fields for Schoo�Sites (Second Revision) <br /> with the excep�ion of analysis for paraquat. RTD collected soil samples from four locations on <br /> the 0.67-acre site at depths of surface �rade to 0.5-feet and 2.5- to 3_0-feet below grade. The <br /> shallovv sa�rt�les were analyzed and the deeper samples were preserved for 1-month hold. The <br /> results of the shailow svil sampies are attached as an electronic file.
