This impact is the same as Impact B6 with the approved project • The addition of project taffic for the 315-space altemative would cause the inteesxtion of Middle- field Road and Winslow Sheet w change from LOS A to LOS B during the Saturday afternoon peak hour. LOS D(at the intersection of Middlefield Road and Jefferson Avenue) is an acceptable level of opeiation, but LOS F(at the intersecrion of Middlefield Road and Winslow Street) is imacceptable. Proiect Drivewav Oaeratlons Block 1 Driveway The driveway into the pazldng garage on Block 1 will be located on Jefferson Avenue, approximately midway between Broadway and Middlefield Road. Level of service ealculations were conducted to evaluate driveway operarions. The results indicate that the lefr tum movements into the site will operate at LOS B or better under all three pazldng space altema- tives under both Friday evening and Saturday aftemoon peak hoia condiUOns. During the Friday evening peak hour, the left tum movements out of the site aze projected to operate at LOS C with the 315-space altemative, LOS E under the 550-space altemative, and LOS F under the 690-space altemative. The LOS E and F operations will result in queuing on the project site (i.e., to exit the parldng garage). The maxi- - mum queue (at LOS F) is projected to be five vehicles; this impact is not considered significant, however, notwithstanding the level of service designation, because it would not affect t�affic operations on the pub- lic street system. During the Saturday aftemoon peak hour, the left turn movements out of the site are projected to operate at LOS B with the 315-space altemative and LOS C with the 550-space and 690-space altemarives. Block 2 Driveway The parking lot on Block 2 will be reconfigured to add 100 spaces, for a total of 304 spaces. The drive- ways for that lot will be (1) a right-tum-in and -out only driveway on the east-west portion of Middlefield Road between Jefferson Avenue and the north-south porlion of Middlefield Road and (2) a ful]-access dnveway on Winslow Street. Level of service calculations were conducted to evaluate operations of the full-access driveway. The results indicate that the inbound left tum movement will operate at LOS A under all three pazking space — altematives under both Friday evening and Saturday aftcmoon peak hour conditions.
