The 315-parldng space altemative would result in
parking deficiu during six one-hour periods and the 550-space altemative would result in a pazldng defi-
cit during one one-hour period.
Cumulative Parking Impacts
There is one currently-pending project (in addition to the revised mixed-use project) that would incroase
parking demand in downtown Redwood City: the "Little Fox" live performance theater, with 240 seats,
next to the Fox Theater. The peak demand for the Little Fox (with the ten percent pazldng vacancy allow-
ance) is estimated to be 80 pazldng spaces. The peak demand will occur in the evenings from approxi-
mately 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The downtown pazking supply would be insufficient to accommodate
cumulative demand if perfomances at the Fox Theater and the Little Fox were held during the high
attendance periods for the cinema (during the summer and on holiday weekends, when blockbuster mov-
ies are released). Valet pazldng is being considered as a condition of approval for the Little Fox for these
occasions.
A20
