Mazshall Street Gazage (Number of Spaces: 38��- --- -- :_-___ - � <br /> a. Not less than $5.00z per hour parking charge for Peak Periods <br /> b. Peak Periods: Monday tluough Thursday after 5 p.m., Fridays after <br /> 5 p.m., and all day on weekends. <br /> c. Four hours free pazking with validation for Cinema patrons during _ <br /> Peak Periods <br /> d. Two hours free pazking with validation for other businesses during <br /> Peak Periods <br /> e. City may operate the gazage at its discretion during non-peak <br /> periods. <br /> f. City can continue the current parking permit system, but the <br /> physical area occupied by that permit system will not be expanded. <br /> g. Monthly permit parking area becomes available after 5 p.m. on • <br /> weekdays and all day on weekends. Individuals with City pazking <br /> permits for this gazage will be able to continue to use the facility in <br /> accordance with their permits. <br /> h. Hours of Operation: At a muumum, the City shall open and <br /> operate the garage at least one hour before the opening of the first <br /> Project business and the garage will remain open until two hours <br /> after the last Project business closes with the City having the option <br /> to close the gazage no later than 3:00 a.m. <br /> 4. Development on Block Two <br /> a. The City recognizes the Cinema's long-term need for adequate <br /> four-hour parking that is free to Cinema users and its reliance on <br /> tt:e parking that will be provided on Block Two. <br /> b. 1� Cih� retains the right to develop Block Two and it agrees that <br /> the new development will self-park according to reasonable <br /> downtown parking standards, but no less than <br /> i. Hotel, 1 space per room <br /> ii. Residenrial, to be agreed to by the Parties in the <br /> Parking Facilities Agreement. <br /> iii. Office, 3 spaces per 1,000 square feet <br /> iv. Retail, 4 spaces for 1,000 square feet. <br /> v. Restaurant, to be agreed to by the Parties in the <br /> Parking Facilities Agreement. <br /> vi. City may approve shazed uses of parking spaces by <br /> compatible parking uses (for example, a day-rime <br /> Cinema Business Points <br /> Page 3, 12/5/2002 . <br />
