0 R I G I N A L 6/23/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13117 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE AND <br /> INSTALLATION OF EIGHT (8) TRUCK BODIES; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the purchase and installation of eight (8) truck bodies to the City of Redwood <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Lodi Equipment of Hayward, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid of Lodi Equipment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Lodi Equipment, in the total amount of Eighty-five <br /> Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-one and No/100 Dollars ($85,881.00), <br /> computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal date May 20, 1997 for the <br /> sale and installation of eight (8) truck bodies, which bid is on file in the office of <br /> the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, <br /> is hereby approved, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br /> Reso-210 1 <br /> DES:djk <br /> F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> 05/28/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
