Approve warrants dated through March 26, 2007 and usual and necessary <br /> payments through April 9, 2007. <br /> 6.3 Section — Resolutions (continued) <br /> B. Authorize receipt of grant funding for the Community Shuttle Service Pilot <br /> Program and authorize the City Manager to execute Funding and Management <br /> Agreement for same. <br /> Council Member Howard gave an update on the program for clear understanding. <br /> The community shuttle and commuter shuttle groups are separated due to <br /> different interests and times for shuttle service. She explained that several <br /> employers have expressed interest in offering funding to shuttle employees to and <br /> from the Caltrain station and grants have already been received from various <br /> agencies. <br /> Christine Maley-Grubl, Director of Peninsula Congestion Relief Alliance, stated the <br /> pleasure in operating Phase I of the commuter shuttle pilot program. Service <br /> plans to begin on April 2; Council and the community are invited to attend the <br /> ribbon cutting on April 9 from 8-8:30 a.m. She thanked City staff for the work on <br /> the program as well as the community stakeholder group that continues to work <br /> on the community shuttle. <br /> M/S Howard/Foust: <br /> Recommendation: <br /> 1. By resolution, authorize acceptance of Lifeline Transportation Program <br /> Funding in the amount of $129,488.00 from the Metropolitan Transportation <br /> Commission through City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo <br /> County for the Community Shuttle Service Pilot Program. <br /> 2.
