ADOPT RESOLUTION 14772 AMENDING THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY'S CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND APPROVING RESULTING BUDGET APPROPRIATION (Deputy City Manager) ADOPT RESOLUTION 14773 AMENDING THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY'S CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND APPROVING RESULTING BUDGET APPROPRIATION (Police Activities League— Management Analyst I/II) The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. 9. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST - A. Legislation (information only) — This sub-section involves possible discussion of City position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities Priority Focus Bulletin No. 10-2007 and 11-2007. Council may direct staff to act on positions taken by Council. (Copies of League of California Cities Priority Focus available in City Clerk's Department). B. Ad Hoc Charter Amendments Subcommittee Council Member Howard stated that since there might be recommendations from both Council and staff for Charter amendments, that it would be appropriate for Mayor Pierce to appoint an ad hoc committee to review recommendations for possible placement on the November 6, 2007. Mayor Pierce stated she would appoint Vice Mayor Foust and Council Member Howard to serve on a Charter Amendments ad hoc committee. 10. ADJOURNMENT — 12:20 a.m. M/S Hartnett/Ira to adjourn to the next regular City Council meeting of April 9, 2007 in memory of Philip D. Bray who died on February 17, 2007. He was a native of Redwood City for 77 years, graduate of Sequoia High School, San Jose State, physical education teacher, Coordinator of Child Welfare and Attendance, and dedicated volunteer in the community.
