<br />SWC:djg-c 10/22/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />f'.JOV 1 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.9254 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT <br />PROJECT (1981-82); REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9226, adopted <br /> <br />September 20, 1982, the City Clerk called for bids for Water <br /> <br />Main Replacement Project for 1981-82 in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, L.J. Krzich Pipeline Engineering Co., Inc., San <br /> <br />Jose, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is <br /> <br />the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />said L.J. Krzich Pipeline Engineering Co., Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of L.J. Krzich Pipeline Engineering Co., Inc., <br /> <br />in the sum of One Hundred Twenty-four Thousand Three Hundred <br /> <br />Eighty-six and No/I00 Dollars ($124,386.00), computed in <br /> <br />accordance with the bidder's proposal dated October 19, 1982, <br /> <br />for Water Main Replacement Project for 1981-82 is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />9254 <br />
