<br />Or')\r; '1\IAL <br />Idu l~ <br /> <br />JUN 2 8 1982 <br /> <br />CGM:mf 6/23/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9146 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING <br />OF STREET MAINTENANCE MATERIALS (ASPHALT CONCRETE) <br />FOR 1982-83 FISCAL YEAR; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT THEREFOR; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br />DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9129, adopted May 24, <br /> <br />1982, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of street <br /> <br />maintenance materials (asphalt concrete) for 1982-83 Fiscal Year; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said materials; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Granite Rock Company, Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />materials, and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid <br /> <br />to Granite Rock Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Granite Rock Company, in the amount of <br /> <br />Forty Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-three and 44/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($40,623.44), more or less, for the furnishing of street maintenance <br /> <br />materials (asphalt concrete) for 1982-83 Fiscal Year in accordance <br /> <br />with the bidder's proposal, dated June 15, 1982, and in accordance <br /> <br />with the specifications therefor on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of <br /> <br />said materials. <br /> <br />9146 <br />
