Exhibit A <br /> <br /> April 18, 1997 <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Anderson <br />Peninsula Celebration Association <br />814 Hamilton Street <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> <br />Re: The Fourth of July Parade, Festival, and Fireworks activities <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Anderson: <br />The City Council on XXXX, 1997 by resolution XXXXX, has authorized me to <br />issue this letter permitting the Peninsula Celebration Association to conduct the <br />Fourth of July Parade, Festival, and Fireworks activities, and an Arts and Crafts <br />Fair subject to and in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. <br /> The permission herein granted is to the Peninsula Celebration Association <br /> (hereinafter, for convenience, called "Permittee'). This permit is subject to the <br /> following terms and conditions: <br /> <br /> Fireworks, a~.d Arts and Craft Fai~ Said activities shall be <br /> 1. Parade, Festival, <br /> ~ponsored by the Permittee, <br /> <br /> 2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the <br /> City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> 3. N0n-tren. sferabi![Jy: This permit is nontransferable. <br /> <br /> 4. Location: The parade herein permitted shall be conducted and the route <br /> reserved therefor, in the areas sl~own on attached map, on letter dated <br /> February 12, 1997. The fair and festival herein pen~itted shall be conducted <br /> and the streets reserved therefor, on Broadway between Main and Winslow <br /> Streets, and Hamilton and Middlefleld Streets between Theater/Middlefield <br /> and Marshall Street. <br /> <br /> 5. Da,tes and Time: The parade and festival shall be conducted on Friday, July <br /> 4~ 1997. The parade and staging area shall be reserved from 6:00 A.M. to <br /> 3:00 P.M.; the parade route shall be reserved from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. <br /> The Fireworks disp[ay will start at or near dusk and will be conducted over <br /> the South Shores area. The perrnittee shall obtain w~'itten consent from the <br /> South Shores property owners. The arts and crafts fair shall be conducted <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
