-- 0 R I G I N A L - 3/10/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13025 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR PREPARATION OF AN <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR PROPOSED <br /> RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE PARK AT 800 <br /> CHESTN UT STREET <br /> <br /> (WOODWARD-CLYDE CONSULTANTS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Nicholson Company (the "Developer") has submitted a <br />proposal to construct a 240,000 square foot research and development office <br />park on an 11.80 acre parcel at 800 Chestnut Street in the City of Redwood City <br />(the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of environmental <br />studies and documentation is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code §21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br />implementive thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br />the City's regulations implementive thereof ("City's CEQA Regulations"; <br />Resolution No. 6882, as amended); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to City's CEQA Regulations, City has determined <br />that said environmental studies and documentation shall be prepared pursuant <br />to contract entered into with a consultant subject to funding therefor by the <br />Developer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Developer has deposited with City the estimated fees and <br />costs to be incurred pursuant to said Agreement; and <br /> <br /> <br />
