<br />internet connection. <br /> <br />C. Maintain and support: RWe will keep the type of equipment or specific named <br />equipment operational as defined by its purpose. If RWe staff is unable to resolve an <br />issue without external vendor support, RWe will contact and work with the <br />appropriate vendor until the malfunctioning equipment is operational. RWe staff will <br />keep the same equipment optimized and its firmware/software current as deemed <br />appropriate to maintain optimized operations, while minimizing down time. <br />2. Internet Access Support: LAH is currently connected to the Internet via a T -1 line. RWe <br />will maintain and support this connection. <br />3. Firewall Support: LAH uses a Sonic firewall appliance to protect the internal network from <br />unauthorized intrusion from the internet. RWe will maintain and support this appliance and <br />in some instances make recommendations to improve security to reduce network <br />vulnerabilities. <br />4. Network Support: RWe will maintain and support all the switches and other networking <br />devices in LAH. <br />5. Server Support: RWe will maintain and support all servers used in LAH. From the diagram <br />RWe has received of the LAH network, the financial system is currently running on HPUX <br />Unix operating system. RWe is not proficient in UNIX or LAH's financial system; however, <br />RWe recognizes the criticality of the seNer to the operation of the entire organization and <br />will treat it as such. Resolutions on this seNer may require the coordination of several <br />vendors in addition to RWe including Hi-Tech, HP, and others; thus outages may take <br />longer to resolve then the other supported technologies which RWe is more proficient in. <br /> <br />In the Microsoft Windows environment, RWe staff will provide full support for the following: <br />. Operating systems <br />. File and print seNices <br />. Email <br />. Antivirus and spam filtering <br />. Internet blocking <br />. Applications running on the seNers <br />6.
