J <br /> <br /> ~ 0 R I G I N A L ~- 2/10/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12997 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL <br /> INSTALLATION PROJECT (MAPLE STREET-MIDDLEFIELD <br /> ROAD, MAPLE STREET-MAIN STREET, MAPLE STREET-EL <br /> CAMINO REAL); AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br /> FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br /> DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12965, adopted December 9, <br />1996, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Traffic Signal Installation Project <br />(Maple Street-Middlefield Road, Maple Street-Main Street, Maple Street-El <br />Camino Real), Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, five bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Richard A. Heaps Electrical Contractor, Inc. of Sacramento, <br />Califomia is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Richard A. Heaps Electrical Contractor, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Richard A.
