depicted on that certain map marked Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by <br />this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this action will enable the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Redwood City, with the assistance of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br />Redwood City, to proceed with studies to determine whether an amendment to <br />add territory to Redevelopment Project No. 2 is feasible; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, consideration and study of a possible amendment to <br />Redevelopment Project No. 2 is in the best interest of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12189, this Council established <br />the State Highway 101 Corridor Survey Area and directed the Planning <br />Commission and Redevelopment Agency to undertake establishment of a free- <br />standing State Highway 101 Corridor Project, which project the Council intends <br /> <br />to replace through the actions taken below; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby designates as the "1997 Redevelopment Survey <br />Area" that area which is depicted on Exhibit A. <br /> <br /> 2. This Council hereby finds that the 1997 Redevelopment Survey Area <br />requires study to determine if an amendment to the Redevelopment Project No. <br />2 to add territory is feasible. <br /> <br /> 3. This Council hereby requests that the Planning Commission, in <br />cooperation with the Redevelopment Agency, to carry out such study; to select <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
