DES:djk 08/20/96 (001/59) <br /> <br /> (#96-C1337) <br /> blg <br /> <br /> GRANT OF PERMIT <br /> <br /> FOR THE USE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> REDWOOD CITY WEAPONS FIRING RANGE <br /> <br /> Pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. of the <br />Council of the City of Redwood City, adopted , <br />1996, permission is hereby granted to the STATE OF CALIFORNIA, <br />DEPARTMENT OF CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL ("Permittee"), to have <br />the non-exclusive use, as described herein, of the Weapons Firing <br />Range (the "Range"), owned by the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and <br />located at 1301 Maple Street, Redwood City, California. <br /> <br /> This permit (the "Permit") is granted subject to the <br />following terms and conditions: <br />1. This Permit shall not become effective until <br />receipt by City of a copy hereof with a duly executed <br />endorsement accepting said Permit subject to all terms and <br />conditions contained herein. <br /> <br /> 2. The permission granted herein shall not be deemed <br /> to constitute a gift, bill of sale, lease, conveyance or <br /> transfer of any property interest by City. This Permit is <br /> not transferable or assignable. <br /> <br /> 3. In consideration for the grant of this Permit, <br /> Permittee shall pay City, the sum of Twenty-four Thousand <br /> and No/100 Dollars ($24,000.00). Said sum shall be payable <br /> in semi-annual equal installments of Three Thousand Six <br /> Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($3,600.00) each for fiscal years <br /> July 1, 1996 - June 30, 1997 and July 1, 1997 - June 30, <br /> 1998.
