11/25/96 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12958 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID RELATING TO EXPANSION <br /> JOINT ASSEMBLIES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW <br /> CITY HALL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12931, adopted October 7, 1996, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Expansion Joint Assemblies for the <br />construction of the New City Hall of the City of Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, one bid was received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Expansion Specialties, Inc. of Sparks, Nevada is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept said <br />bid thereof; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Expansion Specialties, Inc., in the total amount of Thirty-five <br />Thousand Five Hundred Eighty and No/100 Dollars ($35,580.00), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated October 30, 1996, which bid is on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
