B. Presentation — CALTRAIN 2025 Plan - Bob Doty Redevelopment Manager Moeller gave the background on the Downtown Precise Plan and the nexus with transit infrastructure to support the density and clustering of activity generating uses within the Plan. CalTrain /Samtrans Director of Rail Transportation Engineering and Construction Bob Doty gave the presentation on the 2025 Plan. (PowerPoint Presentation on file) Council Members asked various questions related to the speed and journey time, compliance with bicycle and ADA requirements, and whether additional stops would be included in the future plan. Council Member Hartnett explained the vision and challenges. 8. PUBLIC HEARING A. Fiscal Year 2007/2008 Budget Director of Finance and Financial Planning Ponty gave the background leading up to the proposed budget adoption. Mayor Pierce opened the public hearing. There was no public comment M/S Bain /Ira to close the public hearing. The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote by those present with Council Member Howard absent. Recommendation: M/S Ira /Aguirre to approve a resolution adopting the FY 2007/08 budget.
