Direc# pedestrian <br /> connections shall be �rovided between new and existing buiidings and <br /> from INhippie Avenue, Dove Beeger Park, and Alameda de las Pulgas, <br /> including pedestrian access from the bus stop on Alameda de las Pulgas. <br /> C. Ensure Attractive Public Street Frontaaes. The site planning of the <br /> hospital campus sha(l provide attractive street frontages alang Whipple <br /> Avenue and Alameda de las Pulgas that confiribute and enhance the <br /> identity of the loca{ area, preserve the existing trees anci provide <br /> appropriate visual screening, buffering and #ransitions firom the street to <br /> campus buildings. <br /> D. Create a Coherent Unified Campus. The site planning of the hospital <br /> campus shall arrange fihe buildings and open spaces in a comprehensive <br /> mar►ner, to create a {�ighiy functional and aesthetically attractive campus <br /> environment. <br /> E. Create a Compassionate Healinq Environment.
