Consider the Addendum in taking this action. <br /> 3) Adopt ar Qrdinance amencling Rrticle 60, Zoning Ma� No 13 (Canyon <br /> Neighborhood) to rezone the 18-acre Sequoia Hospitai campus from PO <br /> {Professional Office} and R-1 and R-10 (Residential) to P (Planned Community} <br /> District {Attachment 3). Consider the Addendum in taking this action. <br /> 4) Adopt a Resolution appraving the Precise Plan as amended (per Planning <br /> Commission and public input) based on the findings set fflrth in the resolutian. <br /> (See Attachment 4 for Resolution; Precise Pian was previousfy provided under <br /> separate caver}. Consider the Addendum in taking this acfson. <br /> No action needs to be taken by the City Council with respect ta the PC (Planned <br /> Community) Permit for the proposed hospital pavilion addifiion, parking structure or <br /> conceptual site improvements. A fufure public hearing will be heid in September on the <br /> PC permit for final consideration by the Planning Manager. <br /> BAGKGROUND <br /> Sequoia Hospital is proposing to significantly upgrade their campus. The proposed <br /> projecfi includes: renovations and seismic upgrades to the existing hospifial, a new <br /> hospital "Pavilian," parking structure and medica{ office building as well as site <br /> improvements. Requested entitlements include: General Plan and Zoning Map <br /> Amendments, Precise Plan and Planned Community Permit for #he project's first phase <br /> ;!-�ospital pavilion add;tion and parking structure}. <br /> The Sequoia Hospital project review history has been extensive and is summarized <br /> belaw: <br /> o �n January 12, 2005, City staff mef with owners and tenants of 2900 anc! 2950 <br /> Whipple Avenue medical offices to discuss and agree upon the inclusion of their <br /> properties into the Sequoia Hospital Precise Plan as their properties were not part <br /> 1 <br />
