7A <br /> ATTACHMEN71 Page 7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> ,4► �ESOL.UTI�� �� T,y� ��TY C��::'��� ^� T�� ClTY QF R���l��?� <br /> CITY MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS CONCERNING MITiGATI�N <br /> MEASURES, ADOPTING A MITtGATi�N MONiTORING AND <br /> REPORTING PROGRAN6, MAKfNG FfND1NGS CONCERNIf�G <br /> ALTERNATIVES, AND ADOPTING A STATEMENT OF OVERRIDING <br /> CONSiDERATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CALiFORNiA <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT FOR THE SEQUOtA HOSPtTAL <br /> PRECISE PLr41�D <br /> WHEREAS, t�ie �ity oi F2edv,�oad City ("City"} pr�pare� a Finai Environmentai <br /> lmpact Repor� {"F'EIR") for the Sequoia Hospi#al Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the FEIR evaluates the environmental impacts of three deveiopment <br /> alternatives: "No Projec�/No Redevelopment," "No Projec�lRedevefopment with <br /> CommerciaUOffice Uses," and "Reduced Scale Medical OfFice Building"; and <br /> WHEREAS, on Juiy 17, 2007, after a duly noticed public hearing and an <br /> independent review of the FEIR, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City <br /> certified by recorded vote that: ('f) the FEIR was completed in accordance with the <br /> requirements af the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA"); (2) the FElR was <br /> presented to the Planning Commission, and that the Pkanning Commission reviewed <br /> and considered the information contained in the FEIR prior #o recommending approval <br /> of the project; and (3) the FEIR reflected the independent judgment and anaEysis af the <br /> City; and <br /> WHEREAS, in connecfiion wiih the Project the City i�rtends to act on the following: <br /> (Z� aCi ai i�ci iG�i i ici�i i� ii i� ��uv"r'v�u City Genera! Plan; (2) an amendment t� t�a 7nnit�� <br /> Ordinance rezoning the Precise Plan Area to Planned Community (P} Zoning District; <br /> (3) approval of the proposed Sequoia Hospital Precise Plan, pursuant to Article 52 of <br /> the Redwoad City Zoning Ordinance; (4} approvai of PEanned Communi�y {PC) Permits <br /> fior the proposed hospi#aE Pavifion Addition, Parking Structure, conceptual site <br /> improvernents, ar�� a!! su�a�eq!�ent phases of the praject includi�g the Medical Office <br /> Build[ng; and (5} adminisfirative approval of signs, minor site changes and minar building <br /> alterations that are in can#ormity with the Precise Plan. <br /> WHEREAS, CEQA requires that, in connection with the appraval of a project for <br /> which an FEIR has been prepared wl�ich identifies one or more significant <br /> environmentai effects, the decision-making agency make certain findings regarding <br /> those effects. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE� BY THE COUNG[L OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD ClTY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1.
