The following formula shall be used to determine the amount of parkland <br /> required to serve a subdivision: <br /> [required parkland (acres)] _ [expected popula�ion] " .003 <br /> However, the amounfi of parkland that must be dedicated or paid for pursuant to this <br /> Article shall be 50% of the above stated amount, and the City will maintain any <br /> additional standard using other available resources. <br /> C. For purposes of paragraph B, above, expected population shall be <br /> calculated based on the following standard, which is derived from the most recent <br /> federai census available at the time this Section was adopted: <br /> Single Family Res�dences {9-7 units/acre) 2.84 persons per dwelling unit <br /> Condominiums (8-20 units/acre} 2.38 persons per dwelling unit <br /> Rental Multifamify ($-20 units/acre} 2.55 persons per dwelling unit <br /> Condominiums (>2Q units/acre) 1.87 persons per dwelling unit <br /> Rental Multifamily (>2p units/acre} 2.4$ persons per dwelling unit <br /> D. For the purposes of paragraph C, above, there shall be the following <br /> rebuttable presumptions: <br /> (1} When all or part of a subdivision is located in an area zoned for one <br /> dwefling unit per parcel, the number of new dwelling units for that <br /> portian of the proposed subdivision will be �he number of parcels <br /> indicated an the subdivision map. <br /> {2) When ail or part of the subdivision is located in an area zoned for <br /> more than one dwelling unit per parcel, the number of proposed <br /> dwelling units in that portion of the propased subdivision shali equal <br /> the maximum allowed under that zone. <br /> (3} !n the case af a condominium project, the number of proposed <br /> dwelling units in the area so zoned shall equal the maximum <br /> allowed under that zone. !n the case of a condominium project, the <br /> number of proposed dwelling units shal( be the number of <br /> condominium units. <br /> E. For purposes of paragraph C, above, dwelling units lawfully in place prior <br /> to the date on which the parce! or final map is filed shall not be included in calculations. <br /> F. For purposes of paragraph C, above, the expected population of a �ow <br /> lncome Housing Unit sha{I be deemed to be zero and the expected population of a <br /> Maderate Income Housing Unit shall be deemed to be one-half of the expected <br /> population otharwise indicated in paragraph C.
