Vice Mayor Foust — stated that there had been a press release issued in July <br />regarding Bair Island and that there will be particular periods of trail closures <br />along inner Bair Island. U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and the Army Corps of Engineers <br />are bringing in fill material. She stated that this is an exciting opportunity for <br />Redwood City and is something the City through Mayor Pierce and Vice Mayor <br />Foust has worked toward for a number of years. Further updates will be given. <br />E. Mayor Pierce — announced that on Friday, September 14, from, 6 -9 p.m., in the <br />Sequoia Multipurpose room on Brewster, there will be an opportunity for youth <br />and adults to come together for the future. There will be a free dinner and an <br />opportunity to brainstorm a vision for making the community better. <br />9.
