RESOLUTION 14800 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF A MULTI - JURISDICTIONAL APPLICATION FOR <br />PRIORITY DEVELOPMENT AREA DESIGNATION UNDER THE FOCUS PROGRAM FOR <br />THE EL CAMINO REAL CORRIDOR <br />B. Resolution amending salary ranges for positions in Executive Management <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve by resolution changes to the salary range for classifications in the <br />Executive Management Group and approve by motion changes to Section VI (b) of <br />the Executive Management Summary Benefits (905) <br />RESOLUTION 14801 ADOPTING SALARY AND RELATED COMPENSATION PLANS <br />FOR POSITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT WITH THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY INCLUDED <br />IN THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT CLASSIFICATIONS; RESCINDING RESOLUTION <br />NO. 14737 AND 14669; AND RECINDING ANY AND ALL RESOLUTIONS HAVING AN <br />OPERATIVE DATE PRIOR TO JULY 1, 2006; WHEREIN THE SUBJECT MATTER IS THE <br />SAME OR SIMILAR IN TITLE AND /OR SUBJECT TO RESOLUTIONS 14737 <br />6.3 Section — Claims and Warrants <br />A. Approve warrants dated through August 27, 2007 and usual and necessary <br />payments through September 10, 2007. (303) MINUTE ORDER 07 -155 <br />B. Claim from Attorney Donald Galine on Behalf of Doug Burns <br />Council Member Hartnett commented that one of the missing elements is that there <br />were two officers injured in the line of duty. He stated his concern that the officers <br />have lost time and one of the officer's careers was in jeopardy. He further stated <br />that at a later time, study with the City Attorney should be undertaken to determine <br />whether in such situations the City has a claim against the party causing the <br />injuries. That might include any aid the City might provide the officer or any private <br />right or compensation the might have as a result of those injuries. <br />Recommendation: <br />Reject subject claim.
