LOCATED WITHIN THE SEQUOIA HOSPITAL PRECISE PLAN AREA, AS FURTHER <br />DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE, FROM THE EXISTING ZONING DISTRICTS TO <br />THE PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT. <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br />M/S Hartnett/Aguirre to: <br />4. Adopt a Resolution approving the Precise Plan as amended (per Planning <br />Commission and public input) based on the findings set forth in the resolution. <br />(See Attachment 4 for Resolution; Precise Plan was previously provided under <br />separate cover). Consider the Addendum in taking this action. <br />RESOLUTION 14803 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />ADOPTING THE SEQUOIA HOSPITAL PRECISE PLAN <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br />(No action needs to be taken by the City Council with respect to the PC <br />(Planned Community) Permit for the proposed hospital pavilion addition, <br />parking structure or conceptual site improvements. A future public hearing will <br />be held in September on the PC permit for final consideration by the Planning <br />Manager.) <br />Recess: 9:10 -9:20 p.m. <br />B. North Main Street Precise Plan <br />Associate Planner Mehra explained the Plan and what it would accomplish. <br />(PowerPoint presentation on file.) <br />Mayor Pierce opened the public hearing. <br />Public Comment: <br />Eric Bruggo, Brockway Properties, owner of 305 Main Street, submitted a letter <br />detailing some objections. His question is whether 305 Main Street must be <br />included and requested it not be. <br />John Baer, Director of Real Estate for Matteson Realty, stated that over one year <br />ago his company came before the Council with a project proposal for a specific site <br />in the precise plan, 335 Main Street. He stated that at this time his company and <br />the City are 100% in agreement and confident that they can build to the precise <br />plan. He thanked staff for the time spent in developing the plan. <br />M/S Foust/Ira to close the public hearing.
