Adopt a Resolution to amend the General Plan land use designation from <br />Commercial — Office Park to Commercial Office — Mixed Use — Residential. <br />RESOLUTION 14804 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AMENDING THE STRATEGIC GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: 1) CHANGING THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATIONS <br />OF PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE NORTH MAIN STREET PRECISE PLAN <br />AREA FROM "COMMERCIAL- OFFICE PARK" TO "COMMERCIAL- OFFICE MIXED <br />USE - RESIDENTIAL ", AND 2) CHANGING THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE <br />DESIGNATIONS OF PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE SEQUOIA HOSPITAL <br />PRECISE PLAN AREA "A" FROM HOSPITAL - "COMMERCIAL OFFICE" TO <br />HOSPITAL - "PUBLIC AND QUASI- PUBLIC' <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br />M/S Hartnett/Ira to: <br />2. Introduce an Ordinance to amend the Zoning Map from Industrial Park — <br />Vehicular Combining District (IP -V) and General Commercial (CG) Zoning <br />Districts to a Planned Community ( "P ") District. <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AMENDING ARTICLE 60, ZONING MAP NO. 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE <br />REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, TO REZONE PROPERTIES <br />LOCATED WITHIN THE NORTH MAIN STREET PRECISE PLAN AREA, AS <br />FURTHER DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE, FROM THE EXISTING ZONE <br />DISTRICTS TO THE PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br />M/S Foust/Ira to: <br />3. Superior mixed use design <br />b. Incorporation of affordable housing <br />c. Incorporation of public or community facilities (e.g., provides improved <br />public access to Redwood Creek) <br />d. Transportation demand management <br />e.
