Page 37 <br />Correction No.......... 26647 <br />Issued: Ma 8 , 20198 Effective: July 1, 20198 <br />SECTION V - SERVICE AND FACILITIES <br />SERVICE AND FACILITIES CHARGE APPLICATION Item No. <br />500 <br />(A) When stevedoring and terminal work are done by other than the Port of Redwood City, the <br />Service and Facilities Charge shall be assessed against the stevedore or contractor for the ship's <br />cargo handled through the Port's facilities. (See Note 1) <br />(B) The Service and Facilities Charge permits the movement of stevedoring equipment and <br />personnel onto and around the terminal areas to and from the vessel, provides for the use of <br />restroom area, temporary office space on the terminal and parking area for personnel working <br />the vessel and cargo and Port security. Full Service and Facilities Charges will apply once on all <br />cargo unloaded from a land carrier and removed by a land carrier at the Port's facilities. (See <br />Note 2). <br />(C) These charges are in addition to all other applicable charges in this Tariff. <br />Note 1: No Service and Facilities charge will be assessed against cargo in containers as defined in Item <br />10. <br />Note 2: For all cargo received inbound, whether by land or ocean carrier at the Port's tank facility at <br />Berth 5, a single Service and Facilities charge will be assessed only at the time of the inbound <br />movement. <br />SERVICE AND FACILITIES CHARGE Item No. <br />501 (A) <br />Rates are based in dollars per 1,000 kilograms, or per cubic meter, according to vessel's manifest, <br />except as otherwise provided. <br />ARTICLES RATES <br />Cargo, dry or liquid, N.O.S $ 3.37 <br />Cargo, dry or liquid, in bulk, viz. <br />When handled through hopper or ship unloader system $ 1.80 445 <br />When handled through pipeline between vessel and shore facility $ 1.73 4-.8 <br />Scrap metal — to vessel over conveyor system $ 2.85 2-47 <br />Scrap metal — N.O.S. $ 3.00 <br />
