Page 39 <br />Correction No.......... 26748 <br />Issued: May 8 20198 <br />Effective: July 1, 20195 <br />SECTION VI - CARGO HANDLING <br />EXEMPTIONS <br />Item No. <br />610 <br />Cargo handling permits shall not be required for handling operations at the following wharves and <br />facilities or under the following conditions: <br />(1) At bulk oil wharves and small boat marine oil service stations, as designated by the <br />Commission. <br />(2) When a truck operator or railroad company performs the service of loading or unloading <br />freight and absorbs the cost of such service in the rate for transportation and makes no <br />extra charge for loading or unloading. <br />(3) When, in the discretion of the Commission or the Port Manager, the public interest or <br />existing conditions may warrant suspension of the requirement that handlers secure the <br />necessary cargo handling permits. <br />CARGO HANDLING PERMIT FEES <br />Item No. <br />615 (A) <br />The Cargo Handling Permit Fee shall be six hundred sevenV eig dollars <br />(5678.00 418-.00) per calendar year, payable in advance. <br />REVOCATION AND PENALTIES <br />Item No. <br />625 <br />Cargo handling permits shall be revocable by the Commission at any time for such cause as the <br />Commission may deem just and sufficient. <br />This space intentionally left blank. <br />
