6.F. - Page 56 of 180 4.0 4.1 Project Team Organization 4.1.1 Joint Project Governance Organizational Chart The graphic below depicts the joint City (green) and CherryRoad (red) project team organization chart. Core Project Team 4.1.2 City Project Roles • Executive Sponsor— This individual is ultimately the champion of the project for the City. The Executive Sponsor advocates for the project at the highest level in the City and in the Community, and serves as an escalation point if the Project Management Team requires a decision or reach an impasse. • Project Management Team— This team is comprised of the Information Technology Manager, Financial Services Manager, and ASD Administrative Assistant. The team members are the City's primary contact on the project and are responsible for providing an overall framework for the project scope, identifying needed resources, contract negotiations, setting and tracking milestones, authorizing payments, keeping project focused and on schedule, risk assessment and risk mitigation, and overall successful implementation of the system within budget and timeline. The team plans and approves the project activities with both the City and CherryRoad Project Managers. • Steering Committee — The team is comprised of the Project Management Team and representatives from the Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology divisions. Members of this team will be called upon to provide leadership and input on key decisions and core business processes throughout the project.
