6.F. - Page 97 of 180
CORE is proposing the implementation of iPayment as a Subscription License offering based upon the
volume of annual transactions processed within the application. This approach offers the fol lowing
benefits:
1. Reduces the City's reliance on its in-house technology division to support both the
initial delivery as well as ongoing maintenance.
2. Keeps cardholder data off the organization's network environment to minimize the City's
PCI scope and some of the compliance associated costs.
3. Supports unlimited users as the license is not based upon number of workstations.
PROJECT BENEFITS
An iPayment Enterprise subscription offers the City the following benefits:
1. A secure payment processing environment that meets industry payment security practices,
like PCI -DSS and PA -DSS to reduce the City's PCI compliance burden.
2. Expansion of payment activity across all payment channels including, through mobile
devices and at POS from a single, consolidated platform for easier reconciliation and
oversight.
3. The ability for employees to access the application from anywhere for research and
reporting functions without incremental workstation license fees.
4. The creation of one central repository of data to facilitate audit and control.
5. Delivery of an integrated Managed Payment Gateway with the ability to support
convenience fees for designated transactions by department and consolidate the number
of third party merchant processors.
6. Automatic posting of payment activity to Oracle, TruePoint, HDL Prime and other
systems of record as desired.
7. The ability to post to multiple G/L accounts per transaction.
8. New secure card readers that support encryption, EMV, and NFC functions and
compact multifunctional devices that print, scan, endorse and image checks and ID's
for electronic deposits.
HARDWARE PERIPHERALS
CORE's iPayment Enterprise includes integration to a range of peripherals to provide complete
integration solution. These are the recommended devices to supportthe City's current environment.
EXHIBIT APPENDIX C COREBTSTATEMENTOF WORK
ATTY/AGR/2019.118/CHERRYROAD ERP IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES
REV: 05-13-19 PR Page 89 of 172
A -C-6
204
