6.A. - Page 20 of 21 Phase 3 — Closing the School Year & Plan for Next Year February 2020 — June 2020 Objectives During the Closing phase, Consultant will work with Redwood City 2020 to ensure site coordinators are finishing the year working toward school and student goal achievement, capturing progress from Year 1, and planning for Year 2. The objectives for Phase 3 are: • Support the successful closeout of Year 1 to capture progress and information critical to planning for Year 2 implementation; and • Review and present Year 1 progress. Activities Consultant will: • Conduct twice -monthly coaching calls with program leads • Continue virtual Booster Meetings for site coordinators • Provide on-going support and technical assistance to site coordinators, program lead and other relevant Redwood City 2020 personnel on CIS model implementation • Conduct End of Year Reporting Virtual Meetings with Program Managers • Submit year-end progress report to Redwood City 2020. Deliverables • 2-3 Virtual Booster Meetings • Year-end progress report Capacity Building June, 2019 — June, 2020 Objectives Consultant will support the Redwood City 2020 initiative through a number of capacity building and strategic advising activities. The objectives of this work are: • Build effective infrastructure and understand local context to inform planning and implementation; • Co -create the foundational principles of the partnership and identify the long-term work of Redwood City 2020; and • Secure buy -in from stakeholders. Activities Consultant will: • Recognize, and, where appropriate, publicize, the accomplishments of students, staff and others associated with this pilot • Cooperate with Redwood City 2020, the school districts and individual campuses, the local community, and other entities in the development of a comprehensive public relations plan to promote this pilot • Partner with Redwood City 2020 in the securing of funding and support for the sustainability of programming implemented through this partnership Page 12 of 13 ATTY/AGR/2019.116/ COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS REV: 05-07-19 RL 27
