DES:djk ~ 08/09/96 (061/39) <br /> O R I G I N A L 8/26/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12855 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE 1996-1997 WATER <br /> QUALITY MONITORING PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12805 adopted June 24, <br />1996, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the 1996/97 Water <br />Quality Monitoring Program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, two bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sequoia Analytical of Redwood City, California, is <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to accept the bid of said Sequoia Analytical; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Sequoia Analytical, in the estimated total <br />amount of Fifty-one Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-nine and 50/100 <br />Dollars ($51,629.50), computed in accordance with said bidder's <br />proposal dated July 26, 1996, for the 1996/97 Water Quality <br />Monitoring Program is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby <br />found and declared 'to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br />work. <br /> <br /> 2.
