Transportation Manager Jessica Manzi introduced the item and gave a brief <br />overview of the distinction between the roles of the City Council's <br />Transportation Subcommittee and the Transportation Advisory Committee. <br />Chair Jason Galisatus and Vice Chair LaShonda Kennedy presented the work <br />plan. <br />Recommendation: <br />Review, discuss, and approve by motion, the proposed Transportation Advisory <br />Committee Work Plan. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />Motion and second, Borgens/Aguirre, to approve the proposed Transportation <br />Advisory Committee Work Plan for FY2018-2019 and FY2019-2020. The <br />motion passes unanimously by electronic vote. <br />8. PUBLIC HEARING <br />8.A. Public Hearing #7 on District Elections to receive input concerning maps for <br />City Council election district boundaries and the sequencing of elections and <br />introduce an ordinance implementing district -based Elections for City <br />Councilmembers (307) MO 19-102 <br />Deputy City Manager Alex Khojikian gave an overview of the item and NDC <br />Principal Doug Johnson gave a presentation. <br />Mayor Bain opened the Public Hearing. <br />Public Comment: <br />• Helen Grieco <br />• Johanna Rasmussen <br />• Sue Nix <br />• Mary Morrissey Parden <br />• Shelley Tang <br />Motion and second, Masur/Aguirre, to close the public hearing passes <br />unanimously by voice vote. <br />Recommendation: <br />1.
