Agreement for TruePoint Services Exhibit D — Water Budget Methodology Water Budget Application Requirements: 1. Authorized users of the application shall be able to create, edit, and delete the following Water Budgets components: a. Constant - is a fixed or default value used in functions and formulas. b. Customer Variable — is specific to the customer. When a customer moves out the next customer at the site does not inherit customer variables and default values will be used unless updated by the City upon the customer's request. c. Site Variable — is specific to the subsite. When a customer moves out the site variables shall be inherited by the account that is moving into the same subsite. d. Source Variable — is a variable that must be obtained through an integration with another application. (ETo and Precip are the only source variables currently required to complete budget calculations.) e. Function — is comprised of a string of constants, variables, operators and possible other functions that are required to complete perquisite calculations for subsequent functions or formulas. f. Operators — are needed to create functions and formulas from constants, variables, and other functions. Operators shall include, but not be limited to: i. () ii. + iii. — iv. x V, - vi. Min vii. Max viii. Average ix. IsNull x. IsNotNull g. Formula — is comprised of a string of constants, variables, operators and functions that provides an output in the form of a Water Budget for a subsite. Budgets output shall be in billable units or hundred cubic feet (hcf), 2. The City shall have access to create and edit unique water budget formulas for each water use type. Initially budget formulas shall be created for all Residential and Irrigation water use types (5, 12, 3, 13). Other use types may have budget formulas created in the future as needed by the City. 3. Authorized users shall have the ability to create multiple formulas which can be assigned to one or more water use type/segment: a. One budget formula will be assigned as the primary budget for the purposes of billing and displaying budget in the My Water Customer Portal. b. One budget formula will be assigned as the secondary budget for the purposes of imposing drought restrictions or additional information to the customer. Secondary budgets will not be used for billing, but may be used in the My Water Customer Portal or be printed on the bill. c. Each budget formula shall be provided a name and description editable by authorized users.
