6.1. - Page 3 of 4 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />As the lead agency, City of Redwood City determined that the 2018-2019 Sanitary Sewer Replacement <br />Project meets the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) exemption criteria as set forth in CEQA <br />Guidelines Section 15302, ("Replacement or Reconstruction") of the CEQA regulations. Furthermore, this <br />project was designed compliant with the City's Engineering Standards and accepted practices. A Notice of <br />Exemption will be filed with the San Mateo County Recorder's Office. Furthermore, this project has been <br />designed compliant with the City's Engineering Standards and currently accepted practices. <br />This project does not require a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit <br />for stormwater discharges associated with construction and land disturbance activities pursuant to <br />Attachment A.2 of Order No. R2-2015-0049, NPDES Permit No. CAS612008, which exempts projects to <br />update existing lines and facilities.
