Furthermore, this
project was designed compliant with the City's Engineering Standards and accepted practices. A Notice of
Exemption will be filed with the San Mateo County Recorder's Office. Furthermore, this project has been
designed compliant with the City's Engineering Standards and currently accepted practices.
This project does not require a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit
for stormwater discharges associated with construction and land disturbance activities pursuant to
Attachment A.2 of Order No. R2-2015-0049, NPDES Permit No. CAS612008, which exempts projects to
update existing lines and facilities. However, the proposed construction will employ stormwater pollution
prevention best methods and practices.
PUBLIC NOTICE
Public Notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72
hours prior to the meeting.
ALTERNATIVES
The City Council may choose not to award the contract and request staff to redesign and/or offer this
project again for public bid.
ATTACHMENTS
Attachment A- Project Location Map
REPORT PREPARED BY:
Jeffrey Chou, Assistant Engineer II
jchou@redwoodcity.org
(650) 780-7362
APPROVED BY:
Steven Turner, Acting Community Development Director
Melissa Stevenson Diaz, City Manager
City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.ore
199
