6.0. - Page 93 of 179 <br />Much of the County's Supportive Housing inventory consists of CoC-funded tenant -based rental <br />assistance programs (the Shelter Plus Care program). There are also dedicated units in site-based <br />Permanent Supportive Housing projects. The County's Affordable Housing Fund also encourages <br />supportive housing for homeless households and those at imminent risk of homelessness by requiring <br />funding recipients to include units for homeless tenants in their developments and incentivizing robust <br />supportive service provision. The Housing Authority operates the VASH permanent housing voucher <br />program for the homeless veteran population, and works closely with affordable housing developers to <br />encourage the use of VASH vouchers in new affordable housing construction. Permanent housing <br />options for families including Shelter Plus Care, the Housing Readiness Program, and affordable housing <br />developments like 2000 Delaware and 636 EI Camino.
