Q 1'-t here is zero reason we need to support non-inclusive businesses
Q 2 twill never purchase food there, as I vote with my wallet. However, Redwood City is one of the most welcoming. and diverse communities around.] can't
figure out why they would approve opening this establishment with known hatefully anti-LGBTQ corporate philosophy. J ust say no.
Q ]Chick-fil-A does not belong in our welcoming and diverse community herein Redwood City. Chick-fil-A sends donations to anti LGBTQ organizations that
support hate and discrimination against people based on their sexual orientation. They are also known for not requiring policies for their employees that
protect against discrim ination. This hateful company should not be allowed in our community!!
.❑1 1 especially in light of the multiple failed attempts to open allow a LGBT bar in the community
QQ 1. I Do NOT support this business. They do not belong in this city.
Q 1 LGBTQ rights are human rights. Chick-fil-A has not only chosen to publicly oppose these human rights, but are going so far to donate nearly 2 million
dollars
Di 1. We must stand against anti LGBTQ behavior and institutions in order to create an inclusive community in Redwood City!
Q 1 I will not support any establishment that doesn't stand for equality of all people regardless of their gender identity or sexual preference.
Q 1 we want to make our community safe from hate and homophobia. Who cares about how a corporation succeeds in our neighborhood. We want local
business to and we want our neighbors to feel safe.
I'm driving and can't see your message. If this is urgent, please call me.
1 no chick a flick here awful food
]However, let them build it. To block it would be engaging in the same sort of discrimination that their owner endorses.l'll never set foot in it, and will
discourage my friends. People can earn some money building it, and then remodeling it into another store that might succeed.
That is the worst place to put a chick fit a!!!!
1. But I don't think the city can deny a Use Permit based on this.
.7 i am more comcerned about the traffic congestion that plagues this area already- how is the city planning to deal with the added traffic and the freeway
backup
1 'r agree with the "opponents" statement
2-1 believe that Chick-fil-A has good product but they need to come out with a formal statement that they do not discriminate and welcome all including
LGBTQ
1 It's more about traffic than politics. Ifyou have seen the location in Sunnyvale, the traffic is horrendous. If we lock up Whipple, the whole area will suffer
i agree with the opponents
1. Strongly disagree.
1 I am ok with chick opening this restaurant
1 but I can alwaysjust not patronize the business to show my lack of support
1 also, we don't need any more corporatejunk food
1 If you don't support all you don't belong in this community
