Using funding provided by Stanford University for the Neighborhood Street Enhancement Program, the City agrees to pay for the design and preparation of plans, specifications, construction administration, construction, and construction inspection for priority projects developed through the Neighborhood Street Enhancement Program Implementation Plan within unincorporated San Mateo County, with the exception of public art. 4. The County Road Commissioner (the Director of the Department of Public Works) shall review submitted plans and specification and notify the City in writing within thirty (30) days after submission to the County as to whether the submitted plans and specifications are approved or disapproved. 5. The design of improvements within unincorporated San Mateo County shall conform to County standards. 6. All construction activities within unincorporated San Mateo County, shall be coordinated with the County in advance and shall receive the County's approval prior to the start of work. This includes work hours and details of all construction including advance warning to residents, traffic control plans and detailed construction plans. 7. The County shall have the opportunity to inspect all construction work within unincorporated San Mateo County prior to completion and acceptance. 8. The City agrees to transfer forty tbousand and no/100 dollars ($40,000.00) to the County, upon execution of this agreement, for the purpose of the County developing and implementing the North Fair Oaks public art, high priority item (NFO -B 1) as described in the Neighborhood Street Enhancement Program Implementation Plan. 9.
