However, due to the change in the size of the proposed
uses and the lengthy time period since the TIA was initiated, all the tasks contained in
the original scope of services will need to be revisited, and most of the work completed
for the TIA will need to be updated or revised, including new trips counts at certain at
least one intersection.
Updates to the Budgets of the Remaining Subconsultants
The scopes of work for H.T. Harvey (Biological Resources) and Illingworth & Rodkin (Air
Quality/GHG and Noise) will not require revisions, and little to no budget has been
expended on their respective reports. However, because their original proposals were
submitted in 2015, Consultant requested updated budgets reflecting current charge
rates. As a result, the budgets for both subconsultants have increased compared to the
current contract.
Additionally, Consultant's 2015 proposal included an optional task for an archeological
literature search and Cultural Resources memo from Holman & Associates. The City
chose not to activate this optional task in our current contract. We are including this
optional task in this amendment request with an increased budget reflecting updated
charge rates, for the City to activate at its discretion, particularly if a request for tribal
consultation is received pursuant to AB 52.
The work described above was not anticipated in the scope of work for the project and
will require an amendment to the budget, as detailed below.
.
