CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />PARKS AND RECREATION PROGRAM ASSISTANT 1/II (Continued) <br />Parks and Recreation Program Assistant 11 <br />Experience: <br />Four years of progressively responsible administrative experience working with <br />programs or projects preferably in recreation and/or public service environment <br />including contact with the general public, some experience in a supervisory and/or <br />lead capacity, and at least one year of experience in custodial and/or light <br />maintenance work. <br />Training: <br />Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade, including or supplemented by <br />specialized clerical courses. <br />License or Certificate: <br />Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate valid California driver's license. <br />Possession of, or ability to obtain, American Red Cross First Aid Certification and CPR <br />Certificate. <br />Special Requirements: <br />Ability to work in a public use environment; sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, squat, stoop, <br />reach, crawl, twist, climb, and lift and carry 50 pounds; use standard office equipment, <br />including a computer; vision to read printed materials, and hearing and speech to <br />communicate in person and over the telephone; exposure to chemicals and dust. Must <br />be able to operate a motorized vehicle when required.
