CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />PARKS AND RECREATION PROGRAM ASSISTANT 1/II (Continued) <br />Ability to: <br />Understand and carry out both oral and written directions. <br />Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. <br />Operate modern office equipment. <br />Deal tactfully with the public and provide excellent customer service. <br />Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in <br />the course of work. <br />Work independently with minimal direction. <br />Oversee the work of others, including City staff and volunteers. <br />Perform minor maintenance functions. <br />Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends depending on <br />area of assignment. <br />Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects up to fifty (50) pounds. <br />Experience and Training Guidelines <br />Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required <br />knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
