developed through the Neighborhood Street Enhancement Program Implementation Plan within <br />unincorporated San Mateo County. <br />2. The County grants the necessary permission to the City to do work within <br />unincorporated San Mateo County as herein described. <br />3. Using funding provided by Stanford University for the Neighborhood Street <br />Enhancement Program, the City agrees to pay for the design and preparation of plans, <br />specifications, construction administration, construction, and construction inspection for priority <br />projects developed through the Neighborhood Street Enhancement Program Implementation <br />Plan within unincorporated San Mateo County, with the exception of the funding to be provided <br />by the County as set forth below. <br />4. The County Road Commissioner (the Director of the Department of Public <br />Works) shall review submitted plans and specification and notify the City in writing within thirty <br />(30) days after submission to the County as to whether the submitted plans and specifications are <br />approved or disapproved. <br />5. The design of improvements within unincorporated San Mateo County shall <br />conform to County standards. <br />6. All construction activities within unincorporated San Mateo County shall be <br />coordinated with the County in advance and shall receive the County's approval prior to the start <br />of work. This includes work hours and details of all construction including advance warning to <br />residents, traffic control plans and detailed construction plans. <br />7. The County shall have the opportunity to inspect all construction work within <br />unincorporated San Mateo County prior to completion and acceptance. <br />8.
