Operations Section Chief <br />Responsible for supervising the Operations Section and directing the management and coordination of <br />all EOC related operational functions. <br />ELEMENTS INCLUDE: <br />• Ensuring that the Operations Function is carried out including coordination of activities for all <br />operational functions assigned to the EOC <br />• Directing accomplishment of operational objectives and assignments identified in the EOC <br />Action Plan <br />• Establishing the appropriate level of branch and unit organizations within the Operations <br />Section <br />• Exercising overall responsibility for the coordination of Branch and Unit activities within the <br />Operations Section (FORM: ICS -215) <br />• Ensuring that the Planning/Intelligence Section is provided with Status Reports and Major <br />Incident Reports <br />• Conducting periodic Operations briefings for the EOC Director as required or requested <br />Reports To: <br />EOC Director <br />Supervises: <br />• Fire and Rescue Branch <br />• Law Enforcement Branch <br />• Building and Engineering Branch <br />• Emergency Medical Branch <br />• Marine Safety Branch <br />Plans and Reports: <br />• EOC Action Plan — Supports development <br />Reports: <br />• ENERGYSTATUS <br />• FIREFIGHTING STATUS <br />• HAZMAT STATUS <br />• PUBLIC SAFETY STATUS <br />• PUBLIC WORKS STATUS <br />• SEARCH & RESCUE STATUS <br />• TRANSPORTATION STATUS <br />• UTILITY STATUS <br />Forms and Guides: <br />• POSITION JOB AID <br />C-21 <br />
