Pandemic Period <br />Phase 6 — Increased and <br />sustained transmission <br />general population <br />Phase 7 — Recovery and <br />Resumption of Normal <br />Business Phase <br />Continue Phase 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 strategies, plus: <br />• Initiate Workplace Screening with building point of entry screening <br />and possibly require masks to enter City buildings. <br />• Deploy remote access for key administration roles as identified <br />by Department Directors and IT. <br />• Curtail all but the vital functions of the office to free staff to assist <br />other departments with their needs. Consult with the EOC regarding <br />redeployment of personnel. Close all non -vital municipal buildings <br />and public service counters. <br />• Reduce or eliminate all non-essential public contact and minimize <br />human -to -human contact, discontinue training classes and large <br />meeting gatherings. Conduct as much business as possible by <br />telephone and email. <br />• Re-evaluate work schedules and staffing. <br />• Require employees to sign up for direct deposit and convert Payroll <br />to an automated and estimated status. Department Directors <br />continue to track employee payroll hours, to be updated in <br />recovery phase. <br />• Department Directors or designees conduct welfare checks on sick <br />employees and report daily to EOC Planning the number of <br />employee absences. <br />• Maintain a database of reported absences in the EOC. <br />• Department Directors report daily to EOC Logistics any available <br />staff not supporting essential services (Appendix 1) for <br />redeployment and possible credentialing. <br />• Prioritize and implement recovery and business resumption plans <br />to restore normal business operations and services. <br />• Submit lessons learned/after action reports. <br />NIM <br />
