• Implement multimedia education program to <br />educate employees on infection control plan. <br />• Promote the importance of getting annual flu shots (employee <br />and family). Educate to dispel fears about flu shots causing the <br />flu, monitoring for signs and symptoms of influenza and <br />effective self-care measures for the employee and their family <br />members. <br />• Educate City staff and make them aware of pandemic plan <br />and the actions/strategies that can be expected / <br />implemented. <br />• Develop City guidelines to screen employees for flu-like <br />illness for use in Pandemic Phase 6. <br />Information Technology <br />• Develop plans for the establishment of service billing and <br />payments if staff is not available. Revenue services web <br />payment and IVR phone payment is already available. <br />• Establish material list of critical resources that may be <br />difficult to stock or obtain. Additional Laptop and cell phones <br />may be required. <br />• Develop Telecom mute/Remote Access Plan that outlines <br />use/qualifications. EOP staff will need to provide list and <br />count of all the users ahead of time before Pandemic. Each <br />account had to be setup with remote desktop access and <br />privileges. Barracuda client software had to be deployed to <br />each user's home desktop or laptop. (note this is only <br />available at City hall at this time, backup VPN services can be <br />added at PD location by purchasing additional Sonic Global <br />VPN client licenses) <br />D-43 <br />
