EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The following scope of services provides a high level list of strategies and <br />recommendations for further conversation and refinement. This short list of <br />recommendations was developed based on initial conversations to provide a general level <br />of service and broad level of capacities that Authority would have at their disposal to <br />further their communications goals and priorities to support member agencies and could <br />evolve based on continued discussions. <br />City understands Authority is seeking services within these following broad areas: agency <br />communications and branding; public relations and media relations; website design and <br />content development; advertising, digital marketing and social media; and community <br />outreach. <br />In addition to having access to high level management staff to act as advisors, Authority <br />would have access to and leverage City's well established and successful <br />communications tools and City will leverage relationships with member agencies to share <br />Authority news and information and enhance communications needs and reach. <br />These tools include: digital email lists and branded templates for newsletters and other <br />digital marketing communications efforts; branding expertise; existing social media <br />channels including Nextdoor, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedln, and Snapchat; <br />neighborhood association leadership and other community partnership networks to <br />further support community outreach and ability to extend Authority's reach through local <br />partnerships; established media relationships, media list and press release distribution. <br />The following list of activities will be included in the development of an Authority <br />communications plan that City will develop, in partnership with Authority's executive <br />leadership and staff. <br />AUTHORITY COMMUNICATIONS 8& BRANDING <br />• Develop Authority's presentation templates and design <br />• Discuss ways to develop tours and recommend communications strategies to <br />further expand this community engagement tool <br />• Provide public information officer/spokesperson services <br />• Develop and create fact sheets, design infographics and other Authority -focused <br />marketing materials <br />• Develop key messaging and speech writing <br />• Provide staff training on key messaging development and media training <br />• Develop an emergency communications plan, crisis protocols and other <br />documents <br />• Graphic design services for advertising, flyer development, and other print and <br />digital marketing <br />ATN/AGR/2019.188/SILICON VALLEY CLEAN WATER <br />REV: 06-28-19 PR <br />Page 8 of 10 <br />
