This amount includes items listed in Attachment 1, Exhibit A (Scope
of Work), including Tasks 1-6, optional Tasks 7 and 9, and a fair share contribution towards optional Task
8. The Transportation Circulation Study (Task 8) is a broader analysis of the circulation network in this
area, which accounts for potential changes to the street grid resulting from implementation of the EI
Camino Real Corridor Plan, RWCmoves Citywide Transportation Plan, and potential grade separations.
The South Main Mixed -Use project would be analyzed against existing conditions and potential future
conditions, which would take into account this Transportation Circulation Study.
The original agreement of $482,548, plus the amended scope of work at $439,702, totals an amount not
to exceed $922,250.
FISCAL IMPACT
None. Pursuant to the City's Cost Recovery Program, the applicant would pay for all costs associated with
the EIR, including the City staff time necessary to manage the EIR and entitlement process.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA
Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably
foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment.
PUBLIC NOTICE
Public Notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72
hours prior to meeting
ALTERNATIVES
The City Council could decide to not authorize execution of the agreement amendment with AECOM and
direct the consultant to prepare a revised scope of work.
ATTACHMENTS
Attachment A: Agreement Amendment No. 1
REPORT PREPARED BY:
Lindy Chan, Principal Planner
Ichan@redwoodcity.org
(650) 780-7237
City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.ore
24
